Nov 2025-start

Reopening: Mexico and Day of the Dead

Diogenes was born in 2010 as a place for exchange between cultures living in Barcelona. This November 2025, we invite you to our reopening with a programme dedicated to Mexico and the tradition of Day of the Dead.

Don't miss it!

We are very excited to reopen with a programme dedicated to Mexico and Day of the Dead because, since its first opening, Diogenes has been closely linked to the Mexican community living in Barcelona, hosting a wide variety of activities, including: Mexican cooking workshops, fandangos de son jarocho, concerts, exhibitions and children's activities.

A multidisciplinary space

At Diógenes we value collective participation and recognize all people as bearers of culture, through their own language, food, music or ancestral knowledge.

We are a self-managed center open to art and creativity. We welcome proposals for activities and cultural projects seeking to be a community space. Would you like to be part of Diogenes?

Make yourself at home

There is a Mexican expression that says "Mi casa es tu casa". In Diogenes we are inspired by it to invite you to build together with mutual respect, understanding, first of all, that we must respect the home we share: our planet.
